Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an AI Engineer III to design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning and analytics solutions that address complex clinical and operational challenges and deliver measurable improvements in patient care, healthcare operations, and financial performance. This role supports the full lifecycle of predictive analytics, ML, and GenAI solutions while partnering closely with cross‑functional teams across VCU Health. 8+ years’ experience using AI/ML technologies, 5+ years’ experience using Python, R, or SQL, and 2+ years’ experience using full‑stack machine learning engineering is required, along with experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Additional required experience includes developing and deploying LLM‑based agentic AI solutions using RAG or fine‑tuning, evaluating models for performance and bias, building RESTful APIs, working with NLP and unstructured data, and using open‑source ML frameworks.
