Airfreight Specialist

Overview

Owns the job file and also has responsibility for creating and updating relevant documentation and Customer Invoices in the system.

Responsibilities

• Secure truck appointments and monitor transfer activity in the terminal.
• Proactively coordinate with vendors to eliminate incidental costs.
• Ensure documents (HAWB, MAWB, Air Manifest) accuracy and timely submission to airlines/sending to counterparts.
• Ensure timely milestones update in the system.
• Ensure timely job costing and proactively follow up missing pre-alerts from vendors.
• Act as customer service/operations of non-key client export accounts.
• Coordinate and secure confirmation from airlines and ensure profitability at all times.
• Proactively monitor cargo movement and communicate with customers and counterparts.
• Troubleshoot with partner airlines and timely issue resolution.
