Opportunity Description
- Oversee over-all daily truck dispatch planning/allocation from sorting centers to regional centers/Direct hubs vice versa.
- Ensure optimal truck utilization by planning efficient routes, backloads, and trip assignments.
- Monitor fleet availability, performance, and compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure high delivery compliance and minimize turnaround time.
- Address delays, breakdowns, and trucker performance issues swiftly.
- Coordinate with the Supply team for Truck supply and issues for smooth operations.
- Track daily operational KPIs: on-time dispatch, on-time transit compliance, cost efficiency, and truck attendance.
- Lead and guide the Middle Mile Coordinators/Allocators.
- Ensure all team members understand operational priorities and execution plans.
- Optimize usage of low-cost or controlled trucks to reduce transportation cost. (wetlease and Drylease)
