Analyst, Financial Analysis

Overview

The Financial Analyst will support the business unit with periodic reporting and analysis including expense analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, invoice submission, monthly close, and ad hoc tasks. The analyst works closely with partners in Manila and other locations, particularly Chicago, to ensure financial goals of the business unit and Northern Trust are met.

Major Duties

• Perform monthly/quarterly reporting processes such as forecasting, P&L variance analysis, and preparation of various reports and presentations to the management focusing on key business factors driving financial performance, as well as supplemental reports needed by business partners.
• Assist in annual planning, including supporting the business unit for the preparation, timeliness, and integrity of the annual budget and proactively providing sound and valuable recommendations to stakeholders that impact key business decisions.
