ANALYTICAL & FORMULATION SCIENCES, BIOASSAYS & FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS TRAINEE

This Trainee position will support the Analytical & Formulation Sciences team by developing and optimizing biochemical and cell‑based assays that ensure product quality and support research across multiple stages of medical dermatology R&D projects.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform cell culture of adherent and suspension cells under aseptic conditions, including commercial cell lines and human primary cells.
• Establish and execute cell‑based assays, such as reporter cell lines, luciferase assays, cytotoxicity determination, and proliferation assays, primarily in a 96‑well plate format.
• Conduct ELISA (binding and blocking) assays, FACS, and other immunoassays.
• Generate dose‑response curves and determine EC50 & IC50 values.
• Collaborate on and support the development and implementation of additional experimental methods (biochemical and cell‑based assays) for potency determination of molecules from various R&D projects.
