The Data Architect strategically leads the creation and maintenance of an organization's master data blueprint. This role defines data structure, governance, and integration across systems, ensuring effective use for business goals and stakeholder needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The tech architect role should be able to advise and provide support for:
- Requirement analysis and effort estimation for new development and enhancement to existing assets
- Dimensional modeling best practices
- Setting up and maintaining ETL pipelines
- Pipeline monitoring and issue resolution
- Data architecture best practices for relational databases
- SQL readability and optimal code structure
- Code development, testing, test documentation
- Support user testing and implement fixes
- Code deployment and post deployment support
- Identify pipeline automation and optimization opportunities
