This is a senior level professional fee coding position with at least three (3) or more years of recent experience in anesthesia and pain coding. Anesthesia/Pain Coder staff key duties include reviewing documentation to assign appropriate CPT/ASA codes using the CPT-4/ASA manual and established criteria. Anesthesia/Pain Coder will work with clinic supervisors and/or providers to resolve coding issues and questions, following applicable payer rules and guidelines.
