Applications Specialist

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe solutions using Software AG Natural programming language, following established Nutrien and industry standards for code management, testing, and lifecycle control.
• Support applications through the full lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, performing root‑cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.
• Contribute to the ongoing reliability, performance, and maintainability of mission‑critical mainframe systems.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams to ensure performance, availability, and data integrity.
• Support modernization and integration initiatives while maintaining stability of the core platform.
