What’s The Role Shell Canada is seeking an Asset Inspector – Refinery, Chemical & Distribution to join its team at the Scotford Refinery. The Asset Inspector is responsible for ensuring pressure equipment integrity at the Scotford Refinery. This role manages aspects of inspection, materials, welding, quality control, quality assurance, equipment design, procedure review, and the creation or updating of pressure equipment standards and specifications. In addition, the Asset Inspector provides technical support to production and maintenance teams on day‑to‑day plant issues, as well as during operational and equipment‑related problems. The Asset Inspector ensures that all pressure equipment is designed, fabricated, operated, inspected, maintained, altered, and repaired in a manner that preserves pressure equipment integrity and complies with applicable regulations and standards.
