Assistant Controller
A client of ours is looking for an Assistant Controller for a contract role to support the Controller in overseeing daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. This role offers strong growth potential and hands-on training, including exposure to regulatory filings such as BSA/FinCEN reporting.
Responsibilities of Assistant Controller
+ Assist in managing month-end and year-end close processes
+ Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
+ Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure proper reconciliations
+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
+ Assist with internal controls and audit coordination
+ Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
+ Support cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
