Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller leads accounting operations for a multi-site manufacturing organization and ensures divisional reporting complies with corporate policies, SOX requirements, and U.S. GAAP. The role supports timely close, accurate reporting, and strong internal controls across operations in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Mexico.

This position oversees the General Accounting Clerk and a team of six in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close execution, including review/approval of journal entries and coordination of close timelines.
• Review account reconciliations and balance sheet accounts, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage intercompany and related-party activity, including statements and reconciliations across entities.
• Oversee fixed assets and leases, including reconciliations and amortization calculations in accordance with policy and U.S. GAAP. <...
