Assistant Controller

Description We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role is essential in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by managing accounting operations and ensuring compliance with applicable standards. Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee financial reporting, develop process improvements, and provide leadership to the accounting team.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and payroll support.
• Manage and execute the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial deliverables.
