Opportunity Description
The Chemistry & Biochemistry department is searching for an Assistant Lab Technician.
Responsibilities:
Setting up and tearing down chemistry labs with help of the Chemistry Lab Technician.
Preparing chemicals for chemistry labs from written or verbal directions, provided by the Chemistry Lab Technician.
Loading and unloading lab dishwasher.
Hand washing dishes when necessary.
Restocking the labs with chemicals, glassware, consumable items, etc.
Cleaning the lab benches, hoods, etc.
Restocking chemicals to the chemical stockroom shelves.
Organizing lab supplies.
Helping with inventory of chemicals and consumables.
Picking up incoming orders with other student workers or the Chemistry Lab Technician.
