Assistant Manager, Marine and Aviation Underwriting (GEGM)

To review & underwrite risks prudently in accordance with company guidelines & compliance policies in order to achieve a profitable portfolio.

Responsibilities

• To assist Section Head to manage and develop Marine Portfolio
• To underwrite Marine risks within the underwriting authority limit with adherence to Underwriting Guidelines, Treaty Guidelines and other Company Guidelines
• To support business units in underwriting new/ renewal Marine risks and ensure quotes are delivered in a timely manner with high underwriting standards
• To provide technical support to all channels in respect of Marine class
• To ensure renewal reviews on referred risks are carried out within timeline set
• To mentor junior colleague(s) on underwriting of Marine Class
