Responsibilities
- Join a traineeship to learn the basics of vessel operations and resource planning in a round-the-clock container terminal
- Watch over quay side activities to keep vessel handling running smoothly
- Plan and manage container yard activities using theTerminal Operations System
- Track the loading and unloading of containers each day
- Guide and motivate a team of equipment specialists to carry out daily plans
- Make sure work plans are completed on time and meet service targets
- Build strong leadership and communication skills during the traineeship
- Keep safety and efficiency standards high across all terminal duties
- Work with other teams to support smooth terminal activities
- Share new ideas to improve how the terminal runs
- Local polytechnic diploma, or GCE A levels with relevant credits
