The Anthropology Department at University of Utah (U of U) invites applications for a full-time, career-line **Assistant Professor (Lecturer) in Archaeology** who will also serve as **Director of the University of Utah Archaeological Center ( UUAC )** . This is a permanent, non-tenure-eligible, 9-month appointment with full University benefits, including retirement and health insurance. The anticipated start date is **July 1, 2026** , and candidates must hold a PhD by that time.
