The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of brain tumor surgery. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be board eligible or certified.
Teaching responsibilities may include the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include the neurosurgical management of brain tumors and oversight of the multi-disciplinary care of brain tumor patients with a particular focus on gliomas. Clinical research or scholarship opportunities may include participation in translational and/or clinical trials.
