Founded in 1989, Island Crisis Care Society (ICCS) is a non profit organization serving the Nanaimo and Oceanside communities on Vancouver Island. ICCS provides housing, outreach, and crisis stabilization services for individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use concerns, and other complex barriers. Through a trauma informed and person centred approach, ICCS supports individuals in building stability, wellness, independence, and connection within the community.

ICCS Assisted Living programs provide supportive, home like environments for adults who require additional structure and support related to mental health, substance use, recovery, and daily living. Programs focus on stabilization, life skills, wellness, ...
