Assistant/Principal Engineer (FPGA)

We are seeking FPGA expertise to join our mission‑critical engineering team. In this dual‑function role, you will translate customer and system‑level requirements into detailed FPGA specifications, while also performing hands‑on FPGA design, verification, and system‑level integration. You will ensure that FPGA‑based subsystems function correctly within the larger electronic warfare, avionics, or communication systems.

• System Engineering Duties: Elicit, analyze, and manage system‑level requirements. Define system architecture and allocate requirements to hardware, software, and FPGA subsystems. Develop system verification plans and traceability matrices. Conduct trade‑off studies (performance, power, cost, schedule) for FPGA vs. other processing solutions (DSP, GPU, MCU). Lead design reviews and interface with customers on technical specifications.
