Associate / Associate Director Drainage Engineer (Development)

Job Description

As an Associate or Associate Director based out of our Southampton office, you will provide technical leadership to our design teams and deliver high‑quality, on‑time, on‑budget flood risk and drainage projects. You will lead design teams, mentor junior members and manage technical reports, client relationships and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with key clients.
• Display strong interpersonal and communication skills while working independently and collaboratively.
• Manage and execute projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Oversee a team producing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports.
• Be proficient in detailed drainage design through to construction.
• Lead the preparation and submission of S104 applications and support S106/S278 design.
