Associate Instructor (Math Support and Intervention) - JOB ID# 12563

The CREC Academy of Aerospace and Engineering is seeking an Associate Instructor for Math Support and Intervention. Under the general direction of the Administrator, the Associate Instructor will work especially with Algebra I students in grades 8-10 as an in class support and as an instructional support and interventionist(small group). The primary focus for this position will be helping to address students' learning recovery needs. The work day will be from 7:00AM until 2:30PM for a 10-month position. Associate Instructors may also need to attend faculty meetings, departmental meetings, and professional development sessions with the approval of the program director. 

Bachelors' degree in education or related field preferred and previous experience working with a diverse population of students within a middle/high school setting required. Knowledge of teaching/classroom instruction skills preferred.
