Job Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct basic audiological assessments
  • Use of 2 patient identifiers
  • Obtain case history from patients and caregivers
  • Competent in otoscopy, Pure Tone Audiometry, Immitance test (Tympanometry and Acoustic Reflex), Eustachian tube function test, Speech test and Otoacoustic Emission test
• Accurate recording and uploading of audiometric test results, and charging on Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Interpret audiometric results for patients, caregivers and health care professionals involved
• Provide counseling services to patients, parents and all concerned
• Provide Hearing Aid Services/Management
  • Conduct hearing aid evaluations where patients are given information regarding hearing aids in general, how it helps, and types, features, costs and benefits.
