Job Summary
The AutoCAD Draftsman is responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. The role supports engineers, architects, and project managers by translating concepts, sketches, and specifications into detailed drawings for construction, manufacturing, or design projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and/or 3D drawings using AutoCAD
- Interpret sketches, specifications, and technical data
- Revise drawings based on feedback and project changes
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations
- Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams
- Perform basic calculations related to dimensions and materials
- Assist in site measurements and as-built drawings when required
