A Backup Administrator ensures data is securely backed up and can be restored, managing backup systems, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining reliable data protection across servers and storage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Veritas NetBackup, Data Domain, Azure Recovery services, and SAN switches.
• Administer backup environments across Unix, Linux, and Windows servers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backup, tape, and storage issues.
• Build and deploy backup infrastructure and repositories.
• Ensure backup service reliability and simplicity for customers.
• Handle critical backup infrastructure issues and work with vendors for service level maintenance.
