Play a leading role in the delivery of mechanical engineering design packages for underground copper and gold hard rock mining projects. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will apply deep technical expertise across the full project lifecycle; from concept through to detailed design and construction support with minimal supervision.
You will be a key technical contributor within a multidisciplinary consulting team, taking ownership of complex mechanical design scope including surface and underground material handling, ventilation systems, fixed plant, and associated infrastructure typical of hard rock metalliferous mining environments.
- Produce and lead the delivery of detailed mechanical designs, equipment layouts, and engineering drawings using AutoCAD, and Advance Steel, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, client specifications, and applicable mining regulations;
