Job Overview

Bloomberg has an outstanding capacity to explain where the world is economically and politically, where it might be heading, and the ways in which economic and geopolitical forces interact. We’re looking for an Economics editor to deliver timely, high-value research on monetary and fiscal policy and the path of growth, inflation and other variables in a dynamic region spanning China to India and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Ensure economic analysis is tightly written, well-structured, compelling, and delivered quickly and accurately, routinely under tight deadlines.
• Exercise news judgment on when to write, and how to frame research, complementing the technical expertise of economists and analysts.
• Collaborate with teams across Bloomberg’s news and research to reach the widest possible audience, editing material for different platforms, promoting work on the Bloomberg Terminal, and coordinating with regional news ...
