Opportunity Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Book Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs for a variety of projects using Adobe tools.
Responsibilities
- 2+ years of experience in book, editorial, or graphic design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- A strong portfolio showcasing book and cover design work
- Proven experience with books, reports, magazines, and cover layouts
- Solid understanding of typography, fonts, and typesetting
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is a plus
- Experience with print platforms like Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Lulu, etc.
- Strong grasp of print and digital publishing standards
- Sharp eye for detail and a creative approach to design
- Ability to meet deadlines
