Responsibilities
- Trading & Origination
- Source and close bunker deals with Brokers and trading counterparties
- Develop and expand a client portfolio across regional and international markets
- Quote competitive prices
- Supply-demand dynamics and port conditions
- Negotiate commercial terms (price, credit, delivery window)
- Supply & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with Physical suppliers
- Barge operators
- Inspectors and agents
- Ensure smooth delivery and resolve operational issues / claims
- Assess counterparty credit risk and adhere to approved limits
- Monitor exposure and ensure timely payment collection
- Manage price exposure where applicable (basic hedging awareness preferred)
