Duties & Responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers on a regular basis to ensure timeous delivery of ordered stock.
- Implement, monitor, and update procurement programme/schedule.
- Report on the coordination of stock deliveries to management teams.
- Record and manage tender enquiries and quotations.
- Manage all supplier-related issues, including payment terms and delivery.
- Issue purchase orders.
- Manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory.
- Build stock models using sales data over periods.
- Work with sales to forecast demand and meet orders in a timely manner.
- Analyze and implement procurement processes, identifying opportunities to streamline and reduce costs.
