Opportunity Description
The Buyer is responsible for purchasing materials, supplies or equipment for the business, this includes negotiating deals with suppliers, researching possible item selections and taking inventory of current products.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- With 1-2 years solid experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Direct experience as a Buyer in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, particularly with raw materials, packaging materials, or finished goods, is highly preferred.
- Proven negotiation skills and a track record of achieving cost savings.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and inventory management concepts.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for procurement processes.
