Opportunity Description
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Issue purchase orders to qualified suppliers based on operational requirements and supplier capabilities.
+ Set up and maintain high‑volume parts within the Kanban system to support efficient material flow.
+ Maintain accurate planning and supplier data, including lead times, safety stock levels, and ABCD classifications.
+ Ensure material availability to support manufacturing by responding to MRP action messages and placing purchase or subcontract orders as required.
+ Coordinate resolution of discrepant materials and manage certification requirements in line with internal policies and delivery commitments.
+ Partner with suppliers to address delivery challenges, cost changes, and quality concerns in a timely and constructive manner.
+ Monitor supplier performance, including lead times and on‑time delivery, and escalate risks as needed.
