**Job Summary**

+ The BVG Plantsman, Union utilizes hand and/or power tools or equipment to perform a wide range of landscape and irrigation duties.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Planting
+ Watering
+ Digging
+ Installing sprinklers
+ Installing mortar less segmental concrete masonry wall units

**Education and Experience:**

+ Enthusiastic and dependable
+ Preferred experience with Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower)
+ Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations/practices
+ Preferred experience in grading, plating, mulching, landscape construction, landscape edging, gravel, boulders, site furnishings or pavers

**Physical Demands/Requirements:**

+ Ability to work from elevated heights such as an 8 A-frame ladder
