Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cooking of daily meals according to the menu.
- Ensure that food is prepared, handled, and served in line with food safety requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Assist with portion control to minimise wastage.
- Support the Chef and kitchen team with daily food production.
- Ensure that kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored correctly.
- Assist with receiving, packing, and rotating stock when required.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures. Report shortages, damaged stock, or equipment issues to the relevant supervisor.
