Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Material Selection & Inspection: Inspecting veneer sheets for quality knots, grain and defects; selecting suitable veneers based on design.
• Cutting & Matching: Precisely cutting veneers aligning grain and matching sheets for seamless patterns.
• Application: Applying veneers to furniture substrates (plywood MDF) using adhesives and pressing equipment.
• Finishing: Sanding surfaces, smooth applying stains, oils, lacquers or waxes for a flawless final look.
• Machinery Operation: Operating veneer slicers, presses, sanders and other woodworking machines.
• Repair & Restoration: Modifying, repairing or restoring existing veneered furniture.
• Quality Control: Ensuring all work meets design specifications and high-quality standards.
• Veneer Applicator/Press Operator: Focuses on applying and pressing veneers.
