Cartography Team Leader

Overview We are seeking a full-time Cartography Team Leader onsite at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for leading Cartography development initiatives and quality assurance efforts for our aviation products while supervising a team of Cartography Technicians. Essential Functions Directly supervise, lead, direct, and guide the work of Cartography Technicians Lead a team of Cartography Technicians in the maintenance and development of new and existing data sources Collect periodic evaluation/sampling of cartographers’ work to maintain the integrity of Garmin’s databases and product quality Work with Cartography Management and Software Engineering to specify cartography tools improvements or new features Ensure implementation and testing of product configurations, map builds and unit compatibility emphasizing quality checks have been met for Garmin’s cartography products under the guidance of Cartography Management Coordinat...
