Opportunity Description
Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of the Front-End Loader (FEL) Driver/Operator is to safely and efficiently operate Front End Loaders, skid-steers and other heavy equipment such as excavators as used by Qube as part of its operations.
This position is casual employment, with a rate of $45-$50 per hour, and involves on-going sporadic shiftwork, supporting the receival and delivery activities of Qube Ports bulk facility located on Kooragang Island.
The facility operates an irregular 24/7 receival service, which may include, weekends night shifts and public holidays.
Specific Responsibilities
- Safe & efficient operation of front-end loader & other site machinery
- Load-out bulk commodities to customer trucks on-site
- Complete all necessary associated documentation (such as the preparation and signing of cartage dockets and service requests)
