CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech) - Nights Thurs-Sat

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Performs complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures
+ Positions patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
+ Appropriately sets the controls of the relate equipment; monitors equipment and patient; makes adjustments as necessary
