Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate guest needs within the hotel
- Keep the guests informed about the formalities any special conditions relating to their stay and the services available
- Driving the catering vehicle to deliver food beverages and equipment to event locations.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of the hotel and local services
- Enter in the logbook all trips made: departure time mileage time of return purpose of trip etc.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and company policies ensuring safe and responsible driving.
- Follow up on guest requests and ensure the guest is provided with all the assistance needed
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of catering items which may include heavy objects.
- Ensure the security of guests property during transfers
- Report any accident involving hotel's car to the FOM
- Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag
