**Job Description**

**The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking an accomplished academic leader as Chair of Ambulatory Care to provide strategic vision, oversee clinical operations and foster research/education excellence.**

We are seeking a highly motivated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.

**Qualifications**

+ MD/DO degree
+ Board certified in Internal Medicine
+ Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
+ Demonstrated administrative and leadership experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical/academic setting
