Opportunity Description
The Malvernvale Hotel is looking for a qualified Chef.
Normal working hours are 38 hours per week.
Salary on offer is $77,000.00 per annum.
Requirements:
● Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or higher
.● Have a passion for cooking
● Be able to organise production schedules
● Have knowledge of Food Handling and Food Safety procedures
● Be able to work well under pressure
● Able to demonstrate strong leadership skill and be a team player
Tasks:
● Preparing various food items as per the menu
● Prepare daily production list
● Menu planning
● Stock ordering
● Guiding and giving direction to other kitchen staff
● Ensure that all stations remain stocked before and during the working period
● Ensuring proper sanitization of working stations & storage areas
● Train other kitchen staff where needed
