Opportunity Description
Wyman’s is a leading grower, packager, and marketer of wild blueberries. We are seeking a Chief Engineer to work in our Morell, PE location. This is a permanent, full-time position. As a Chief Engineer, you will coach, lead, and develop a team of refrigeration engineers and maintenance staff, providing them with direction, ensuring that safety is met with the highest standard, and ensuring operations of the refrigeration systems continue to operate reliably.
Core Responsibilities
- Safely lead, mentor, direct, and train a team of refrigeration engineers and maintenance staff.
- Operate and maintain the ammonia and refrigeration systems.
- Ensure safety codes, legislation, and other regulations are followed in relation to refrigeration systems.
- Working alongside the Plant Manager and Maintenance group, providing support and direction to tradespeople in maintaining the reliability of the refrigeration and processing line equipment.
