Our client is looking for a candidate to be responsible for:• Project Evaluation: assess project plans, specifications, and other documents to understand the scope of work, materials required and labor involved• Cost Estimation: lead the process of estimating the costs associated with a project to include materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses • Bid Preparation: responsible for preparing bids and proposals in response to the RFP or bid documents provided by the client• Team Management: oversee the team project coordinator / engineer or junior estimators, providing guidance, training and supervision to ensure consistency and accuracy in estimates• Vendor and Subcontractor Relations: negotiate with vendors and subcontractors ...
