Key Responsibilities
Planning & Design
- Prepare structural design of the house (beams, columns, slabs, foundation)
- Ensure the design follows the National Structural Code of the Philippines
- Analyze loads (dead load, live load, wind, earthquake)
- Coordinate with architect for layout and functionality
- Evaluate site safety, slope, drainage, and accessibility
- Recommend proper type of foundation
