Classroom Support

A Post 16 Classroom Support is needed for an immediate position for a lovely client SEN Academy we work with in the Newcastle area. Support is needed in areas such as Vocational, Motor Vehicles, Construction etc.

This is a full-time role, you must be able to work 5 days and hours are 8.30-4.30 Mon-Thurs & 8.30-3.00 Fri.

Class sizes are small and children will have a mix of learning difficulties and behavioural difficulties. Experience in supporting children with any of the above needs would be an advantage but is not essential - a willingness to learn and engage with SEN children is the most important quality we are looking for.

You will have or be prepared to obtain a DBS check, and we will need to carry out our vetting checks in a face-to-face interview at our Sunderland office. In addition, we will need to take up at least two references.
