Responsibilities
- Answering phones and assisting clients both over the phone and in person.
- Accepting and processing referrals and contacting patients to book appointments.
- Communicating with local physicians, nurse practitioners and dentists as well as provincial Respirology specialists.
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering inventory as needed.
- Educating patients on the use of the home sleep apnea testing device, programming the device, uploading the data, etc.
- Educating patients on the use of CPAP therapy.
- Selecting and fitting CPAP masks.
- Cleaning equipment.
The successful candidate will be trained as a CPSGT (certified polysomnography technician). All training and education is provided.
