CLINIC RECEPTIONIST, CONSULTANT CLINIC

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Ensure registration is made accordingly (patient demographic and preparation of forms). Fully responsible for the transaction and retrieval of case notes as requested. All transactions to or from their respective station must be documented and must not be exposed to public.

MAIN DUTIES

• Participate actively in any new service introduced by the services.
• Strictly maintain confidentiality and safety of patients at all times in the clinic, hospital and elsewhere as necessary.
• Ensure smooth flow of the clinic and apply best management practices (appointment systems, tidiness and other requirements).
• Attend to the needs of patients and consultants.
• Provide thorough explanations to new patients regarding rules, requirements, charges pre- and post-treatment.
• Ensure all cases are charged and keyed in respectively.
