Job Description

The Clinical Dental Hygiene Faculty member is responsible for providing clinical instruction, supervision, mentorship, and evaluation of dental hygiene students within the clinical education environment. Faculty members support the mission of the dental hygiene program by promoting excellence in patient care, evidence-based practice, professionalism, ethics, and student success. This position requires active engagement in teaching, patient care oversight, calibration activities, institutional service, and continuous quality improvement initiatives consistent with accreditation standards and institutional policies Required Qualifications Associate or Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution. Current unrestricted dental hygiene license in Tennessee or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee. Current CPR/BLS certification. Minimum of 3 years of clinical dental hygiene experience.
