About the role
Based within the Research Unit (cardiology), this role facilitates the requirements of the cardiology clinical trials and associated data activities.
Responsibilities include:
* recruiting patients for selected trials
* setting up clinical studies and performing clinical tests/investigations
* providing education and support to staff regarding the specifics of selected trials
* carrying out laboratory-based procedures related to the investigation/assessment of patients in clinical studies
* maintaining trial data requirements including coordinating patient tests and appointments
