About the Role
This is an exciting role working not only in Children's
Emergency Centre (CEC) but also across the inpatient wards within the wider
Paediatric Service. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be a resource person for
the patients with complex medical needs who present to CEC. The role will also
extend to the other wards to follow the patient journey and provide expert
clinical knowledge and resources to support the nurses caring for the patient. Service
development will also be a core component for this role, to keep pace with the
population needs.
