Clinical Supervisor I/II, Obstetrics

Position Summary

The Clinical Supervisor I or II for Obstetrics is a part-time staff position with responsibility for clinical teaching and/or supervision of students in a mother/baby, OB, and/or women’s health clinical setting according to the policies and procedures of the clinical site, the Department of Nursing, and the Berman School of Nursing and Health Professions. Duties include, but are not limited to, competency evaluation, planning for and assigning clinical duties to students, arranging orientation to clinical site for self and students, conducting post clinical conferences with student group(s), providing written clinical evaluation of student performance at mid-term and final periods in the semester, grading clinical written assignments, and working with SU faculty and staff to resolve issues with clinical sites and/or students.
